We’re driven by the opportunity to reimagine what it’s like to drive and make travel safer, less stressful, and more enjoyable for everyone. When you join the Latitude team, you’ll work alongside leading experts across machine learning and robotics, cloud platforms, mapping, sensors and compute systems, test operations, systems and safety engineering – all dedicated to making a real, positive impact on the driving experience for millions of people. As a Ford Motor Company subsidiary, we operate independently to develop automated driving technology at the speed of a technology startup. Latitude is headquartered in Pittsburgh with engineering centers in Dearborn, Mich., and Palo Alto, Calif. Meet the team: The Real Estate and Workplace Services Team (REWS), is an integral crossfunction support team comprised of Facilities, Security, Logistics, and Real Estate groups. This team is responsible for internal and external site coordination across all Latitude locations, as well as support for employees and external guests. The Logistics Coordinator I role will support shipping, receiving, and asset management across the organization. This role will independently execute the daily responsibilities of shipping, receiving, and asset management based on requests from business partners. Additionally, this role contributes to the overall success of the REWS team through cross-functional support within facilities, security, reception, event planning, and project execution. This contract will be 12 months in length. Logistics oversees the end-to-end flow of goods across the company, including shipping, receiving, and asset management for all Latitude sites. The team manages the majority of the product lifecycle for assets supporting Engineering, Operations, and Enterprise Services from intake through fulfillment and beyond. This includes end-user devices, IT architecture for sites, storage devices for vehicle operations, hardware components for vehicle and bench builds, and everything in-between. Responsibilities include receiving inventory from suppliers and internal teams, creating internal SKUs, building and maintaining product profiles across systems, tagging serialized assets, recording quantities, and organizing warehouse storage. On the fulfillment side, the team processes requests, confirms inventory availability, picks and stages orders, packages shipments, prepares shipping documentation, updates system records, and manages tracking, delivery confirmation, and returns from users or decommissioned assets. Most aspects of this role involve managing and communicating through ticket requests and utilizing a variety of systems to accomplish a wide breadth of tasks. Success in this role requires a strong customer service mindset, as Logistics directly enables teams across the business to operate effectively. Each shipment received, asset processed, and order fulfilled supports teams who rely on timely and accurate access to equipment and materials. The role demands the ability to pivot quickly, troubleshoot issues independently, and maintain precision in a fast-moving environment. By prioritizing responsiveness, reliability, and clear communication, our team removes operational friction and allows the broader organization to focus on its core objectives without disruption.
