Meet the team: The Real Estate and Workplace Services Team (REWS), is an integral crossfunction support team comprised of Facilities, Security, Logistics, and Real Estate groups. This team is responsible for internal and external site coordination across all Latitude locations, as well as support for employees and external guests. The Logistics Coordinator I role will support shipping, receiving, and asset management across the organization. This role will independently execute the daily responsibilities of shipping, receiving, and asset management based on requests from business partners. Additionally, this role contributes to the overall success of the REWS team through cross-functional support within facilities, security, reception, event planning, and project execution. This contract will be 12 months in length. Logistics oversees the end-to-end flow of goods across the company, including shipping, receiving, and asset management for all Latitude sites. The team manages the majority of the product lifecycle for assets supporting Engineering, Operations, and Enterprise Services from intake through fulfillment and beyond. This includes end-user devices, IT architecture for sites, storage devices for vehicle operations, hardware components for vehicle and bench builds, and everything in-between. Responsibilities include receiving inventory from suppliers and internal teams, creating internal SKUs, building and maintaining product profiles across systems, tagging serialized assets, recording quantities, and organizing warehouse storage. On the fulfillment side, the team processes requests, confirms inventory availability, picks and stages orders, packages shipments, prepares shipping documentation, updates system records, and manages tracking, delivery confirmation, and returns from users or decommissioned assets. Most aspects of this role involve managing and communicating through ticket requests and utilizing a variety of systems to accomplish a wide breadth of tasks. Success in this role requires a strong customer service mindset, as Logistics directly enables teams across the business to operate effectively. Each shipment received, asset processed, and order fulfilled supports teams who rely on timely and accurate access to equipment and materials. The role demands the ability to pivot quickly, troubleshoot issues independently, and maintain precision in a fast-moving environment. By prioritizing responsiveness, reliability, and clear communication, our team removes operational friction and allows the broader organization to focus on its core objectives without disruption.

Requirements

  • Bachelorʼs degree. In lieu of a Bachelorʼs degree, an Associateʼs degree with two years of employment experience or a High School Diploma or GED equivalent with four years of employment experience required. Relevant fields include warehousing, asset management, customer-facing retail, or supervisory roles; Previous roles in similar R&D environments is a plus
  • Experience with service ticketing platforms, shipping software, warehouse management systems (WMS), and asset control systems strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to streamline processes
  • Working knowledge of IT assets, hardware components, vehicle parts, and similar product categories
  • Understanding and practical application of OSHA regulations and 5S standards
  • Ability to work independently, effectively self-manage priorities, meet defined KPIS/SLAs, troubleshoot issues, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Composure under pressure with sound judgment in time-sensitive situations
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to provide guidance and support to others
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and systems such as Jira, Insight, Fleetio, NetSuite, ShipStation, and Envoy, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound shipments by receiving, verifying, and distributing goods via Envoy; reconcile purchase orders in NetSuite and resolve discrepancies with cross-functional teams. Coordinate carrier deliveries and distribute USPS mail per the distribution database.
  • Execute end-to-end outbound shipping operations for our Pittsburgh location, including secure packaging, regulatory compliance, and proactive issue resolution, while also supporting vehicle operations and remote locations with various shipping needs.
  • Coordinate inbound freight scheduling and receive deliveries independently using lift gate and pallet equipment. Prepare, palletize, and secure shipments to prevent damage, and complete all required BOL documentation, including NMFC and freight classification.
  • Manage and track Jira tickets from intake through closure, ensuring timely updates, accurate documentation, and adherence to defined SLAs. Utilize workflow automations to maintain consistency, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and escalate issues when required to keep workstreams on track.
  • Oversee international shipments by preparing required documentation and ensuring compliance with trade regulations. Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders for timely clearance, resolve issues, and advise teams on regulatory changes and their impact.
  • Support asset operations by tagging, documenting, and preparing inventory for storage. Maintain accurate system records through part creation, data ingestion, asset updates, and fulfillment processing. Support inventory consolidation, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution across warehouse locations.
  • Lead cross-functional projects with accountability and precision, proactively managing scope, schedule, and budget. Communicate clear, transparent updates to stakeholders throughout execution.
  • Support the REWS team through cross-training by covering various functions as needed, including reception, facilities maintenance, and event planning and execution.
