About The Position

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now. The role involves working the 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The main tasks include daily review of customer shipments using PowerBI and SAP systems to verify adherence to requested ship dates by our 3PL provider, collaborating with 3PL leadership to assess and review the daily shipping schedule, identifying and addressing any potential issues proactively, ensuring that the daily plan of our 3PL aligns with MANIN-HUMMEL's expectations and customer segment, analyzing order placement data and shipment information to identify opportunities for enhancing business practices and achieving efficiency gains, following up on urgent customer orders requiring same-day shipping or priority shipments to ensure timely delivery, and undertaking additional responsibilities related to Distribution & Logistics tasks as required by business needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation management, or supply chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience in warehouse management.
  • Proficiency in using PowerBI and SAP systems for reviewing customer shipments.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess shipping schedules and identify potential issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with 3PL leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities to address issues in a timely manner.
  • Attention to detail to ensure adherence to customer requested ship dates.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage urgent customer orders for same-day or priority shipments.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and additional responsibilities in Distribution & Logistics tasks.
