About The Position

Main Tasks
Perform daily track-and-trace activities to monitor shipment status and address delays or exceptions. 
Maintain consistent, professional carrier communication to ensure timely updates and issue resolution. 
Monitor international inbound air and ocean shipments, ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance with internal requirements. 
Support logistics and compliance projects 
Assist with freight audit and payment, including reviewing carrier invoices and validating charges against contractual rates. 
Perform accurate HTS classification for raw and finished goods. 
Prepare complete and accurate parts lists for customs brokers to ensure compliant customs entries. 
Support customs protest filings by compiling required documentation and entry records. 
Assist with tariff refund filings, pending potential regulatory or legal decisions. 
Pull, organize, and verify CARM (CBSA Assessment and Revenue Management) and PMS (Periodic Monthly Statement) records. 
Conduct ongoing audits of customs entries, classifications, duty payments, and supporting documentation to identify discrepancies or risks. 
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Experience working within an international, multicultural organization.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end supply chain process (“from supplier’s supplier to customer’s customer”).
• Strong numeracy and IT skills, with experience in SAP MM/SD modules preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for effective coordination with carriers, brokers, and internal teams.
• Demonstrated confidence, integrity, and sound judgment in handling compliance documentation.
• Strong organizational and planning capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills essential for audits, reporting, and external correspondence.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule with occasional overnight travel as needed.
• Ability to sit and stand for 8+ hours per day.
• Ability to move within office and warehouse environments up to 50% of the time, including navigating logistics and storage areas.
