About The Position

Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 to create a circular supply chain for electric vehicles and clean energy products, making them more sustainable and driving down the cost for batteries. We're doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain. The logistics clerk will assist in the smooth and efficient operations of Redwood's logistics and supply chain process. This will include tasks such as tracking shipments, coordinating with suppliers and carriers, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. The logistics clerk acts as a key point of contact for all logistics-related inquiries and plays a critical role in maintaining the overall flow of goods and materials within the organization.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• High school diploma or GED required
• A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!

Responsibilities

• Assisting in coordinating inbound and outbound warehouse shipment operations
• Communicating with logistics carriers to resolve issues or delays
• Tracking and reporting on shipment statuses
• Maintain accurate records of shipments
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
