Position Summary The Regional Logistics Driver serves as the local courier, executing last mile pickup and delivery service for the Reproductive and Cell & Gene Therapy client base. This position is an integral frontline interface with the client, serving as an immediate point of contact for client inquiries and any troubleshooting related to delivery service.

Requirements

Able to understand and comply with established company policies and procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office

Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment

High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous driving and customer service experience
Valid driver’s license
Excellent driving record with no moving violations in 3 years
Must be available and willing to work overtime as some driving distances cannot be handled in a typical 8-hour work day
Ability to lift, lower, and slide packages weighing 25 lbs. to 75 lbs.
Ability sit and stand for extended periods of time
Driver must maintain a professional appearance at all times, adhering to company uniform and hygiene polices and procedures.

Responsibilities

Create and manage daily dispatched routes via emailed requests through company systems
Load/unload cargo, secure load, and obey traffic rules
Comply with all cold-chain management work instructions
Tender and recover shipments directly from airports
Ask for specific feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
Responsible for all pre-trip safety inspections, preventative truck maintenance services, and all other regulations per the Department of Transportation (DOT). Must adhere to Company DOT Program policies and procedures when applicable.
Use a handheld tablet to scan invoices, obtain route stop information and navigation
Communicate with appropriate internal functions with regards to changes in schedule and delivery issues as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
