Logistics CDL Driver, Class A CDL - Essential Responsibilities: We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Logistics CDL Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a semi-truck to transport uncontaminated loads of bulk fuel, and may assist in loads of seed, grain, fertilizer, and other agricultural products. We take pride in our long-standing driver retention, with many team members serving for decades.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Clean driving record
Required endorsement: Hazmat
Prior experience in Class A CDL delivery preferred
Basic computer and technology proficiency
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks
Problem-solving mindset with sound judgment
High level of integrity and accountability
Resilience and adaptability in challenging situations
Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Responsibilities

Safely operate semi-trucks, including a Tanker trailer and may assist with Hopper Bottom and Live-Floor (Belt) trailers, in compliance with all traffic laws and defensive driving practices
Ensure timely daily pickup and delivery of agricultural commodities
Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance
Utilize pallet jacks to load/unload products from dry vans when necessary
Maintain delivery records and verify accurate loading and unloading procedures
Clean truck thoroughly between product changes to prevent contamination
Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transit
Lock cab and cargo doors when unattended
Refrain from using cell phones or handheld devices while driving
Drive cautiously and responsibly in all weather and road conditions
Collaborate across departments to support broader business operations
Perform other duties as assigned
