About The Position

The Logistics Business Analyst will play a crucial role in the ERP Transformation project for a Semiconductor Wafer Foundry. This position involves reviewing, providing inputs, and approving various documents related to configuration, testing, security, integration, cutover planning, and user acceptance testing. The analyst will work closely with a global team to ensure that the systems align with industry best practices and meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst or similar role within logistics and ERP transformations.
  • Experience in business transformation, process improvement, change management, and leading a highly matrixed collaborative team.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP software.

Nice To Haves

  • Semiconductor logistics experience
  • Master's degree or higher
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes complex business problems and develops recommendations.
  • Gathers and clarifies business requirements, answering questions about data elements and their relation to business processes.
  • Organizes business design sessions and blueprinting to arrive at future state tool, process, and people design.
  • Relays client feedback and instructs the development team to make amendments based on feasibility of proposed features.
  • Reviews, provides inputs, and approves Configuration Design Documents to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Provides inputs to Level 3 Process Flows, Solution Design Decisions, and Fit gap analysis.
  • Collaborates on defining security roles and controls related to logistics processes.
  • Reviews and approves analytics requirements and assesses change impacts from process modifications.
  • Tests feature prototypes by involving clients and recording their experiences.
  • Assists in the development of Functional Unit Test scripts and validates FUT results.
  • Supports the development and validation of Security Unit Test scripts and results.
  • Collaborates on the development of Integration Test scripts to verify system functionality.
  • Analyzes and validates Integration Test results to identify issues or discrepancies.
  • Conducts user acceptance testing to determine if the prototype meets project requirements.
  • Contributes to the development and execution of the cutover plan for the new ERP system.
  • Monitors and validates data loads during cutover cycles to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Performs project management functions on smaller efforts, including scope, time, and quality management.
  • Records, monitors, and publishes critical project key performance indicators, documenting progress and reporting to senior stakeholders regularly.
  • Reviews existing reports and metrics, making recommendations to improve quality and efficiency of business processes.
