About The Position

The Logistics Business Analyst will play a crucial role in the ERP Transformation project for a Semiconductor Wafer Foundry. This position involves analyzing complex business problems, managing configuration and testing processes, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices. The analyst will work closely with a global team to provide insights and approvals on various project documents, contributing to the successful implementation of the new ERP system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst or similar role within logistics and ERP transformations.
  • Experience in business transformation, process improvement, and change management.
  • Experience leading a highly matrixed collaborative team.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP software.

Nice To Haves

  • Semiconductor logistics experience
  • Master's degree or higher
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes complex business problems and develops recommendations.
  • Gathers and clarifies business requirements, answering questions about data elements and their relation to business processes.
  • Organizes business design sessions and blueprinting for future state design.
  • Relays client feedback to the development team and assesses the feasibility of proposed features.
  • Reviews and approves Configuration Design Documents to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Provides inputs to Level 3 Process Flows, Solution Design Decisions, and Fit gap analysis.
  • Collaborates on defining security roles and controls related to logistics processes.
  • Tests feature prototypes with clients and records their experiences.
  • Assists in the development of Functional Unit Test scripts and validates results.
  • Supports the development and validation of Security Unit Test scripts and results.
  • Collaborates on the development of Integration Test scripts to verify system functionality.
  • Analyzes and validates Integration Test results to identify issues or discrepancies.
  • Conducts user acceptance testing to ensure prototypes meet project requirements.
  • Contributes to the development and execution of the cutover plan for the new ERP system.
  • Monitors and validates data loads during cutover cycles for accuracy and completeness.
  • Performs project management functions for smaller efforts, including scope, time, and quality management.
  • Records, monitors, and publishes critical project key performance indicators, documenting progress and reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Reviews existing reports and metrics, making recommendations to improve quality and efficiency.
