Responsibilities include delivering patient specimens, pharmaceuticals, surgical instruments, surgical implants, medical scopes, patient histories, staff educational material, inter-clinic mail, USPS mail, USPS packages under 50lbs, and various items including nuclear medicine materials. The role demands a high level of problem-solving skills to resolve issues related to materials that are not received or are delayed, collaborating with the supervisor and the affected work unit for solutions. The position also involves sustaining and complying with a broad range of policies and governmental regulations, assisting with projects, and new employee training as directed by management.
