About The Position

As a Logistics Associate, you will fulfill the logistics behind receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to purchase orders and warehouse policy. You will also ensure that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery. Requirements

  • Ability to learn quickly with a desire to continue learning
  • Strong work ethics
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Excellent communication skills to be used when working with Kimbel employees and customers
  • Clean Driving record. Candidates will need to complete MVR release form
  • Ability to pass drug test and DOT Physical
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects, typically up to 50–75 lbs independently
  • Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces (like crawlspaces or attics), and kneeling or crouching for extended periods
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small tools and components with precision
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8–12 hour shift, often in varying weather conditions or non-climate-controlled environments

Nice To Haves

  • Having a general knowledge of plumbing and hvac material is helpful
  • Forklift certification

Responsibilities

  • Stock, sort, and clean the warehouse
  • Operate forklift (certification preferred)
  • Manage large quantities of material and inventory
  • Load and unload materials and tools
  • Oversee shipping and receiving lines
  • Utilize Yard Truck to maintain and coordinate semi Trailer Yard (backing semi trailers)
  • Experience hooking up trailer to semi (air lines, electrical line)
  • Local Deliveries with box truck
