About The Position

The Summer Employment Opportunity Program (SEOP) provides temporary summer employment opportunities to children, step-children and spouses of Mayo Clinic employees enrolled in a college degree granting program of study, and is intended to help supervisors accommodate employee vacation requests when seasonal work volumes are high. During the selection process, you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the OnDemand interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question. Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The completed interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps. This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship. We will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Requirements

  • Must be a child, step-child, or spouse of a current Mayo Clinic employee.
  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree granting program.
  • Must be returning to college in the fall.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 10 weeks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older by the start of the program
  • SEOP employees should not expect vacation/days-off to be approved during their commitment.
