About The Position

The Logistics Associate I is responsible for meeting Operations delivery and kitting requirements. Job duties include receiving, storing, handling, shipping, inventorying, and preparing product for customer delivery while demonstrating and promoting safe behaviors and processes. This requires working independently, with specific direction or as a member of a team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one year experience on various sizes of forklifts
  • Basic knowledge and proficiency with current computer software and related hardware
  • Ability to operate a conventional forklift
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and understand information
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Material Tracking System (MTS) experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Models and promotes alignment with HOLT's Vision, Values, and Mission
  • Adheres to guidelines and procedures to load, unload, store, and disburse inventory material to assist in satisfying customer requirements and achieving manufacturing goals
  • Ensures parts and finished product by locating and staging for shipment
  • Transports material in area or between areas utilizing carts, tuggers, cart caddies, forklifts, and other devices
  • Maintains kitting processes and best practices for operations and external customers
  • Maintains all company equipment and work/storage areas in a good, clean, and working order
  • Observes and adheres to all safety aspects/policies/training/call outs at all times and requires reporting of all near misses and incidents
  • Works overtime as required by workload and customers' needs
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
  • Performs other duties as assigned
