About The Position

The Logistics and Materials Supervisor is responsible for leading all site warehouses, distribution, and fulfillment activities to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations. This role oversees raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), finished goods, and MRO inventory while driving operational excellence in inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, safety, and quality. The Supervisor supports business objectives through cross-functional collaboration, employee development, and consistent enforcement of company policies and procedures. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, or materials management
  • Prior people leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and lead a diverse workforce
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support key business needs and deadlines
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional groups

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Foster and promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and accountability in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Lead inventory control activities across raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and MRO inventory to ensure accuracy and material availability.
  • Manage daily warehouse and distribution operations to support timely, accurate, and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve material flow, inventory, or logistics issues to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Ensure warehouse and dock areas are organized, maintained, and operated in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Enforce adherence to warehouse policies, standard operating procedures, and internal controls.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Production, Purchasing, and other stakeholders to align logistics and materials activities with business objectives.
  • Oversee MRO inventory and stockroom operations, including inventory accuracy and replenishment.
  • Perform and oversee SAP transactions related to inventory, materials movement, and warehouse activities.
  • Oversee mobile equipment inventory, usage, and maintenance coordination.
  • Train, coach, and develop warehouse and logistics employees while reinforcing performance expectations and company guidelines.
