Requirements

  • Be a US Citizen.
  • Obtain a suitable evaluation for mandatory drug screenings.
  • Possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Possess the analytic capability to identify and research various directives, regulations, and policies.
  • Have no record of criminal convictions.
  • A minimum of 6 years' logistics or facilities management experience, preferably in a Navy or Marine Corps environment.
  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of logistics and/or facilities management experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory logistics and/or facilities management experience.
  • Ability to obtain a favorable Tier 3 Background Investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise contractor personnel involved in logistics operations for the Expeditionary Combat Skills training program.
  • Coordinate facilities management for the learning activity.
  • Serve as an advisor to Activity Leadership on budget matters.
  • Provide advice on program execution and status, measuring implementation of plans and policies.
  • Provide continuous oversight and analysis of financial management and execution of all appropriations.
  • Supervise contractor logistics, financial and IT personnel assigned to the learning activity.
  • Assist Activity Leadership in managing the annual financial spending plan for CENSECFOR Detachment Gulfport.
  • Liaise with CENSECFOR Headquarters (N8) in the preparation of funding documents.
  • Monitor the execution of approved budgets through review and analysis of costs incurred.
  • Provide inputs in support of the management and accounting for the command's Operating Budget.
  • Work with CENSECFOR Headquarters (N8) to prepare open purchase requisitions and request for quotes.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of distribution and use of financial resources for all appropriations.
  • Solicit input from government and task order personnel to determine inefficiencies and develop strategies.
  • Develop and implement financial management and logistic policies and procedures.
  • Conduct special studies, analyses, and investigations to detect and correct issues in government financial practices.
  • Conduct continual analysis of organizational, administrative and staff functions relative to logistics.
  • Make process improvement recommendations and execute associated actions.
  • Develop a 'cost-wise readiness' culture.
  • Coordinate the receipt and issue of all reimbursable orders and maintain appropriate records.
  • Provide financial programming and budgeting process support for the activity.
  • Prepare and update Spend Plans as directed or required.
  • Combine separate logistics support procedures for the activity to facilitate high volume training requirements.
  • Maintain accountability of consumables, gear and equipment, task order services and deployment of GSA fleet vehicles.
  • Maintain accountability, quality assurance and accurate inventory of Resource Requirement List (RRL) consumables.
  • Issue appropriate RRL items to students and ensure acknowledgment of responsibility.
  • Coordinate student reimbursement for unreturned accountable items.
  • Develop and maintain historical records and files for turnover upon relief.
  • Provide weekly status briefs and updates to Activity Leadership.
  • Attend meetings related to these duties as required or requested by Activity Leadership.
  • Assure that all departmental training requirements are completed to maintain compliance.
  • Provide staff support for facilities projects, maintenance and warranty administration.
  • Integrate operations and interests of other departments to benefit student instruction.
  • Manage the activity's Low-Level Radioactive Waste (LLRW) Inventory.
  • Coordinate facilities related projects and transportation requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate facility trouble calls and repairs.
  • Coordinate maintenance and self-help projects.
  • Communicate transportation requirements and services with CENSECFOR Headquarters.
  • Serve as the Telephone Liaison Officer (TLO) for telephone service support.
  • Direct IT issues to the appropriate source as an Information Technology Functional Representative (ITFR).
  • Provide system updates and information to end users.
  • Coordinate maintenance of current equipment and future projects.
  • Provide end user localized technical support and troubleshooting with network equipment.
  • Initiate and track documents for access and submit N6 MAC requests.
  • Manage IT and A/V equipment inventory and coordinate moves or changes.
