About The Position

Ensure the accurate execution and follow-up of import, warehousing, and distribution processes by maintaining system accuracy, analyzing operational data, and resolving issues in a timely manner. This role contributes to compliance with service level agreements for B2B customers and overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Planning and coordination of imports, transportation, and distribution, with strong knowledge of Incoterms and delivery timelines.
  • Understanding of international logistics, import/export documentation, and coordination with freight forwarders and warehouses.
  • Experience routing domestic orders and preparing accurate shipping documentation.
  • Inventory monitoring and analysis, with the ability to recommend stock optimization strategies.
  • Logistics-focused customer service, including order, delivery, and product inquiries.
  • Data collection and analysis skills, with experience generating operational reports.
  • Knowledge of value chain analysis and FOB cost calculation.
  • Basic understanding of accounts receivable, reconciliations, and vendor payments.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and tracking tools (SAP preferred).
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency; advanced or native Spanish proficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree or associate/technical degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Logistics, Imports, Customer Service, or Supply Chain roles.
  • Hands-on experience working with freight forwarders, warehouses, carriers, and international logistics teams.
  • Experience in inventory management, logistics documentation, and customer support.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional training or certifications in Incoterms, International Logistics, Supply Chain, Customs Operations, or SAP are a plus.
  • Experience in importing companies, distribution, or CPG environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the transportation, import, and distribution of products, ensuring compliance with Incoterms, shipping timelines, and on-time delivery to customers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for order fulfillment with internal managers, customers, freight forwarders, and warehouse shipping teams.
  • Coordinate the routing of domestic and international sales orders, including delivery schedules, by preparing accurate shipping documentation for assigned warehouses and transportation modes.
  • Collaborate with the international logistics team and warehouse to ensure export and import documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Monitor inventory levels, perform analyses, and propose improvements to optimize stock management and availability.
  • Provide customer service support by responding to inquiries related to orders, deliveries, and products to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Gather, analyze, and report logistics and customer service data to support informed decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve operational issues efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics and customer service processes and collaborate with stakeholders on implementation.
  • Prepare value chain analyses prior to each import to determine FOB costs.
  • Manage customer collections and support the reconciliation of accounts receivable and supplier payments.
  • Perform and document periodic physical inventory counts as scheduled, reconcile variances, and report findings promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
