About The Position

The Logistics and Administrative Coordinator supports daily plant operations at Revolution's Flint facility, ensuring smooth and efficient coordination between production, shipping, and administrative functions. This role serves as the central hub for communication across departments- managing freight schedules, verifying documentation, supporting supervisors, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's degree is preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or plant administrative coordination.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, dependable, and committed to supporting the success of the entire operations team.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the facility as needed.
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 Ibs.
  • Comfortable working in a plant environment around forklifts, production equipment, and shipping operations.
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend or after-hours support as needed to meet shipping or production demands.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP or logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or similar systems) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for raw materials, finished goods, and recycling loads.
  • Communicate directly with carriers, drivers, and vendors to confirm load times and resolve scheduling issues.
  • Prepare and process all shipping and receiving documentation (BOLs, packing slips, receipts, and load sheets).
  • Track and update daily load schedules; ensure all shipments meet customer and company timelines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.
  • Work closely with Production and Warehouse to ensure load accuracy and proper material handling.
  • Provide administrative support to the Plant Manager, Supervisors, and HR as needed.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for shipping records, production logs, safety forms, and other key documents.
  • Assist with purchase orders, supply requests, and invoice processing.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding paperwork and training record updates as requested.
  • Serve as the central contact for logistics inquiries and administrative updates.
  • Collaborate with corporate logistics and customer service teams to align shipping priorities.
  • Generate daily and weekly reports for production, logistics, and plant performance metrics.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve communication flow.
