About The Position

Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to join our dynamic Adhoc Logistics team. This role oversees domestic and international shipments, with a focus on the LATAM region, supporting Tesla’s CapEx, New Product Introduction (NPI), and prototype shipments globally. You’ll coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of specialized materials. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in international logistics, including navigating complex regulatory environments and dangerous goods compliance. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing logistics or supply chain operations
  • Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, import/export procedures, and trade regulations, with emphasis on customs compliance for LATAM shipments, especially from Mexico
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to achieve success in situations with high degrees of variation and complexity
  • Proficiency in Spanish
  • Willingness to travel up to 5%

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cost-effective import/export shipments that meet delivery timelines and business requirements
  • Ensure timely preparation and accuracy of all shipping documentation (air, ocean, ground) to comply with business needs and deadlines
  • Ensure adherence to domestic and international regulations, including LATAM customs procedures, hazardous materials handling (IATA, IMDG), and global trade standards
  • Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities, streamline processes, and improve carrier performance
  • Provide responsive, high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders throughout the shipment lifecycle
  • Monitor carrier KPIs and lead performance discussions during OIL calls
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support business goals and drive operational excellence
