Your journey starts now-protect and innovate with MANTECH! MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics Analyst II to join our vehicle sustainment team in Fort Hood, Texas. The selected candidate will provide logistics support to the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations role in a military or government environment.
  • Must be familiar with military supply systems (e.g., GCSS-Army).
  • Proficient in computer operations and the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Experience in receipt, accountability, and inventory of equipment and spare parts.
  • Experience in inventory and requisition supplies and maintaining stock of supplies and equipment.
  • Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver's License for the location in which the work will be performed, and a High School Diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with military or commercial logistics supply systems, including both automated and manual processes, as well as equipment serviceability standards and criteria.
  • Prior military experience, or civilian equivalent, aligned with the following specialties: 92A - Automated Logistics Specialist
  • 92Y - Unit Supply Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, inventory, load/unload, store, and issue supplies and equipment, ensuring strict accountability of all items.
  • Maintain accurate records using automated supply systems, such as the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), or similar inventory management software.
  • Coordinate the shipment of materials, manage the retrograde of unserviceable items, and plan warehouse layouts for efficient storage and retrieval, considering factors such as turnover, size, and weight.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all supply chain regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies. Prepare regular reports on supply activities, inventory status, and discrepancies for management and governmental agencies as required.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment (MHE), including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Provide professional customer support to supported units, resolving issues related to supply disruptions and ensuring all requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Collect, label, store, manage, and control hazardous materials (HAZMAT) as required.
  • Perform other logistical duties as assigned.
