About The Position

CommIT Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Analyst III in Quantico, VA, to provide technical support and expertise across our Logistics, Supply, Acquisition and Maintenance domains in support of the United States Marine Corps MCSC G-4. This position will require frequent customer engagement in order to understand and solve functional, business process and transactional issues; to support the accurate and timely delivery of products. Established in 2001, CommIT is a Certified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) providing innovative technical engineering and data science services. Our enterprise systems support includes the Department of Defense’s (DoD) GCSS-MC, CAC2S, TBMCS-MC, and the Department of Veteran’s Affairs’ (VA) telehealth communications. We offer acquisition management, systems engineering, Agile software development, cloud management, IT modernization, data analytics, cybersecurity, and training, including leading-edge DevSecOps, automated testing, and mobile application development.

Requirements

  • Eight (8) years of professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; preferred
  • Must have intermediate knowledge of Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps in property management and requisition management
  • Security Clearance: Public Trust Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of Marine Corps logistics, specifically Requisition Management, receipt control and accountability, birthing of assets, redistribution of material, and maintaining a complete audit trail of documentation to ensure proper accountability to support internal/external audits and FSMAO Inspections.
  • All daily work will be conducted within the policy and procedures defined by the Marine Corps and the policies and business process procedures defined by the MCSC G-4 to facilitate accountability in both retail and enterprise level inventory activities and individual units/accounts.
  • Provide technical expertise in the areas of Marine Corps logistics, material and supply management.
  • Ability to facilitate accountability in retail and enterprise level inventory activities and units.
  • Ability to prepare, maintain and control essential supporting documentation to document major events in capital asset’s lifecycle from acquisition, transference, sub custody and final disposition and/or disposal in support of existence and completeness.
  • Document and Report (word document) your weekly tasks to provide visibility and insight into work volumes, accomplishments, risks and issues.
  • Your direct reports will feed overall status reports, and allow your team leads and the government to produce metrics and drive efficiencies and continuous process improvement.
  • Be able to understand and fulfil the support needs of the client, work under pressure and time constraints to complete task and mission objectives, as part of a cohesive team.
