About The Position

This position provides direct contract support to the government Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML). The Logistics Analyst will assist in the planning, execution, and oversight of the program's logistics and maintenance lifecycle. The role serves as a key coordinator to ensure the APML has the necessary data and support to facilitate Integrated Product Team (IPT) operations and make informed decisions.

Requirements

  • A Final DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or allowable substitutions: Six (6) years additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree; Associate’s Degree plus four (4) years additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree).
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in logistics management, program analysis, or a related support field.
  • High proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Arlington, VA.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field (e.g., Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Program Management).
  • Five (5)+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of the Navy (DoN) program office, particularly NAVAIR.
  • Familiarity with DoD/Navy acquisition processes and policies.
  • Knowledge of military maintenance procedures and inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct contract support to the government Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML) by performing a variety of analytical, technical, and administrative duties.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and oversight of the program's logistics and maintenance lifecycle.
  • Serve as a key coordinator to ensure the APML has the necessary data and support to facilitate Integrated Product Team (IPT) operations and make informed decisions.
  • Assist in preparing meeting agendas and materials; record and track action items to ensure timely completion.
  • Track and monitor the status of depot-level repairs, technical manual updates, and training requirements.
  • Support the development and execution of logistics program budgets by gathering data, tracking expenditures, and preparing status reports.
  • Act as a point of contact for routine fleet support requests and assist in tracking program assets by interfacing with inventory control points.
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, status reports, and other logistics documentation as required by the APML.
