About The Position

As our new Logistics Analyst - Army, you will become part of our Huntsville, AL based logistics team supporting the US Army’s Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) efforts in program planning and acquisitions. You will be part of a 25-30 member team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality logistics support to C-UAS at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Serco provides logistics sustainment and contingency support to C-UAS both OCONUS (Iraq, Kuwait & Syria) and CONUS (Redstone Arsenal, Yuma Proving Ground, and Fort Sill, OK) by maintaining satellite networks, conducting logistics database administration, lifecycle management of supplies and reset services. In this role, you will: Following the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements, you will provide multi-functional support that includes components of program planning, procurement and acquisition analysis, contractual review reference and recommendations, all applied by the Federal Acquisition Regulations and requirements. Provide oversight for development and execution of Milestone Documentation to include the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Type Classification, Materiel Release, Core Logistics Analysis (CLA), Depot Source of Repair Analysis, Materiel Fielding Plans and Materiel Release. Serve as a document preparer and reviewer for all written Milestone and Logistics Management Directorate (LMD) documentation such as SOPs prior to final signature or concurrence. Acts as an advisor to Logistics Management Directorate Leadership, presenting information regarding varying strategic initiatives and logistics. You will review and identify potential procurement issues and provide solutions. You will effectively communicate with multiple entities daily, including senior government leadership, contractors, and vendors comprising of engineering, product managers, quality, provisioning, logisticians and more, tracking and applying contractual requirements, establishing plans, and documenting milestones, with the overall mission of reducing or eliminating risk.

Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret clearance
  • US citizenship
  • A Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience in logistics within Government/non government and/or Military operations or a High School Diploma with 10 years of experience in logistics within Government/non government and/or Military operations in lieu of degree
  • Your experience and understanding of new system equipment preparation for Logistics Lifecycle planning, from conception, through production, delivery, fielding, and sustainment will be required
  • Strong presentation skills and knowledge of selected computer applications specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
