This position will be responsible for the planning and analysis of all goods moving through the Phoenix DC. The planning and analytical outputs will be used to inform and influence the tactical day to day decision making for operations while also providing input for strategic decision making. This role would suit a candidate with a strong logistics and analytical background.

Requirements

  • Six Sigma or Lean Training with a high emphasis on continuous improvement, process and operational health metrics.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and develop others with strong communication skills, clear expectations, and professionalism.
  • Ability to be effective in a high sense of urgency, dynamic, and fast paced environment.
  • Highly analytical and organized individual who has the ability to process details efficiently and accurately.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Office, Excel, Access, SharePoint) and PowerBI.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with various levels of management.
  • Must be proactive in recognizing and adjusting to shifting priorities.
  • Self-motivated and directed, capable of operating semi-autonomously.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Logistics or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Own reporting processes for all functions within the Phoenix DC.
  • Owns project management and operational responsibilities for the Phoenix DC.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators to determine the health of DC operations.
  • Develop standard operating procedures to ensure uniform compliance with both new and established processes.
  • Coordinate and deliver project goals and objectives within a defined time period in a cross-functional environment.
  • Manage and coordinate resources to support various special programs as needed.
  • Manage the reporting needs for both Distribution and Industrial Engineering.
  • Evaluate logistics procedures to identify and implement efficiencies, compliance risks and increase the Company’s overall compliance.
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.
