As a Logistics Analyst you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. How the Logistics Analyst will make an impact: Work with local vendors to purchase supplies. Research, pricing development, data collection, analyzing and comparison. Assist with shipping and receiving parts and equipment sent to the facility. Conduct turn-in of old equipment to DLA Disposition Services. Multi-tasking, documentation, optimizing operation processes, resolving inventory tracking, and customer service & reconcile resolution. Research & enter data into multiple databases such as GCSS-Army, LIW, AESIP, and FEDLOG to conduct extensive searches for information pertaining to complex and/or unusual supply transactions and patterns. Coordinate shipments using commercial and government transportation methods. Support Technicians with Maintenance processing and opening and closing Work Orders. Control the flow of raw and finished goods, services, and information between points of origin through receipt at the manufacturing site, through to customer placement to meet customer or manufacturing requirements. Administer logistical support and provided direction in areas of Procurement, Receiving, Identification, Records, Movement, Storage, Physical inventories, Reporting, Utilization, Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance and Disposition, Asset management. data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration, and related functions. Perform unpacking of shipment deliveries, preparing shipping documents, maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments, Consolidating shipping orders. Receive, track, control, and document Government and Customer Property in accordance with Government regulations and GDIT Asset Management policies, procedures, and processes. Create asset property record and maintains the asset records in the GDIT Asset Management database. Update asset records in the Asset Management database. Assists in the physical inventory of Government and Customer assets and materials to ensure accuracy of property records and compliance with property procedures and contractual requirements. Conduct 100% Quarterly Asset Inventory IAW Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL). Assist in utilization reviews to identify excess and/or obsolete property assets. Coordinates Government support during the disposition process. Assist in providing training for Program personnel and assigned Property Custodians to ensure understanding of Property Policy and Procedures. TMDE Coordinator. Maintain asset calibration due list accrue and up-to-date and schedule for pick up and drop off calibrating Assets. Familiar with Army Logistics – Acquisition - Production Control - Property management. Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities
