About The Position
SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst to provide support at the SAIC Middletown, RI Office for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center for multiple programs. The individual will be responsible for material procurement support, managing procurement records, interfacing with vendors and customers, tracking inventory, and developing various project management and technical documentation. The role requires a government clearance and strong computer skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide material procurement support including development of procurement documentation
- Complete, scan, archive, and manage procurement records and transportation/transfer requests
- Interface with vendors to obtain quotes, processing Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders
- Update Excel spreadsheets with relevant information, kitting and tracking inventory
- Interface with customers to develop procurement requirements and to provide status updates
- Attend meetings, develop meeting minutes and track action items
- Develop MS Excel procurement tracking documentation
- Develop project management support documents including program plans, office communications and memoranda, and organize documents
- Develop technical reports
- Prepare assorted presentations
- Assist with the management and tracking of other project data, as required
