As a Logistics Analyst – Domestic First Mile (Indirect), you will provide problem-solving support for internal and external partners to ensure optimal freight flow through the indirect network. You will work in partnership with internal supply chain teams (Inventory Management, Supplier Performance, Operations) to drive process improvements and establish best-practice routines. You will manage external carrier and 3PL relationships, track performance against expectations, and take action to address performance gaps. Unique to this role, you will support the inbound and outbound logistics of non-sellable freight through Target’s upstream indirect nodes; this inventory plays a critical role in the success of store launches, remodels, and transitions. You will be tasked with working analytically, collaborating effectively, and shaping the future of indirect routines at Target. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Prior supply chain or logistics job experience (indirect experience preferred)
  • Process-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to influence peers and key stakeholders
  • Strong reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box to develop creative solutions
  • Ability to plan, manage, and prioritize time/tasks effectively
  • Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative, demonstrates ability to work independently
  • Ability to develop relationships, both internally and externally, and work in a team environment
