Dendreon Patient Operations manages the creation of the production plan and execution of arm-to-arm activities, including but not limited to enrollment intake, production management, demand planning, logistics analysis, scheduling, and real-time product monitoring supporting a comprehensive Provenge supply chain. The Logistics Analyst supports logistics planning and execution to ensure daily production schedules align with the established capacity model within the execution horizon. This role supports the creation and optimization of transportation routes and logistics systems and works closely with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Scheduling, Dendreon Connect (DC), and cross-functional partners to support optimal manufacturing utilization, regulatory compliance, and patient commitments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 2-4 years of relevant logistics or production scheduling experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in Dendreon Operations
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple databases and electronic systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-company environment with minimal direction and shifting priorities
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Finger dexterity sufficient to use a computer and complete documentation activities
  • Vision sufficient to use a computer, read written materials, and complete paperwork
  • Hearing sufficient to communicate by phone and in person
  • May be required to work alternate shifts
  • Position is performed in an office environment

  • Experience in a cGMP / FDA-regulated industry preferred
  • Working knowledge of biologic material transport a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supports logistics planning and execution for time-sensitive, patient-specific treatments within a regulated manufacturing environment, ensuring optimal plant utilization
  • Maintains working knowledge of treatment manufacturing, scheduling and transportation workflows, enabling informed tradeoff decisions that optimize plant utilization, mitigate operational risk, and align with Provider preferences and regulatory requirements
  • Resolve routine scheduling and transportation issues in accordance with established policies
  • Identify issues requiring escalation and provide supporting analysis
  • Monitors capacity and supports the communication and implementation of capacity adjustments
  • Manages transportation routes within Dendreon’s proprietary scheduling system; collaborates cross-functionally to ensure risks and costs align with established policies
  • Resolves day-to-day scheduling constraints and inquiries by identifying logistics-based solutions
  • Reconcile shipment data across multiple systems to ensure data accuracy and alignment
  • Produce standard reports and metrics related to logistics performance
  • Maintain working knowledge of logistics systems and tools
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Manufacturing, IT, Scheduling, DC, and external partners
  • Supports Dendreon’s growth by contributing to process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
