About The Position
The AOG Specialist is responsible for planning and acquiring supplies, materials and equipment from internal and external suppliers. This role may include contracting, negotiating, schedule management and coordinating technical interface. The AOG Specialist will provide placement of internal and external orders for components, outside processing, subcontracting and attrition relative to requirements to ensure a continuous flow of materials and meet Material Requirements Planning (MRP) demand. Additionally, the specialist will harmonize, communicate, and resolve issues relating to internal and external suppliers not meeting schedule requirements, monitor and communicate component shortages, perform administration of supplier contracts, maintain master data information, develop recommendations for parts or program change management, initiate and coordinate with other departments, participate in improvement projects, track status of material shipments, manage post disposition activities of non-conforming assets, ensure documentation compliance, and provide solutions to a variety of technical/business related problems.
