Basic Job Functions:The Logistics Administrator responsibilities include but are not limited to: Serving as the primary contact for transportation invoicing activities (rail, barge, and truck); Ensuring timely and accurate invoice approval submissions for vendor payments; Supporting all weighmaster, logistics, and purchasing tasks and responsibilities as assigned based on business need; Communicating professionally and effectively with carriers, drivers, and internal teammates to resolve logistical issues; Ensuring safety procedures are followed for scale house activities; and Supporting continuous improvement of finance, logistics, and compliance processes. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years in accounting, purchasing, or finance
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Experience with Oracle EBS systems
  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
