About The Position

CACI is currently looking for a motivated, career and customer-oriented junior level Logistician with Agile methodology experience to join our Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative ITI2.1 team in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development and hardware integration for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a member of the ITI2.1 Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity. CBP Officers and Border Patrol agents are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security by combining customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated and supportive activity. Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation
  • Applicable combination of education and experience: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline and 3 years of experience in logistics or related field
  • Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain concepts
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the field of logistics

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining and updating maintenance concepts and requirements
  • Support the management of repair parts, spares, and consumables inventory
  • Help gather system technical data
  • Participate in training programs for CBP and civilian personnel
  • Assist in packaging, handling, storage, and transportation tasks
  • Support customer service operations for field technicians and logistics partners
  • Help monitor the flow of goods and materials
  • Assist in gathering data for metrics and reports
  • Participate in research and data collection for project needs
  • Support the drafting of technical papers under guidance
  • Assist in monitoring cost and schedule of projects
  • Help respond to customer inquiries
  • Support the verification of product technical quality
  • Assist in the development of integrated logistics plans and other related documents
