This is an onsite position.

Requirements

  • 5 + years of integrated product support & product support experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or related area
  • Understanding of all 12 Elements of Product Support, which consists of Product Support Management, Supply Support, Sustaining Engineering, Maintenance Planning & Management, Design Interface, Support Equipment, Manpower & Personnel, IT Systems Continuous Support, Facilities & Infrastructure, Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation, Technical Data, and Training & Training Support
  • Product Support Budget and Resource Planning Experience
  • Skills identifying and communicating Product Support risks and opportunities
  • Experience leading cross-functional personnel that make up the Product Support team
  • Must hold an active Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting NAVAIR weapons systems in various phases of acquisition with heavy focus on managing the system to and through the Operations and Support phase
  • Experience supporting WXS

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and implements directives to ensure effective logistics support and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped.
  • Develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment.
  • Integrate the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition and wholesale environments.
  • Responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance.
