Raytheon is currently seeking a temporary Logistician to support inventory tracking for the Field Engineering service group. In this role, the Logistician will be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of inventory. The candidate will support inventory management which includes reporting, analysis, reconciling and resolving issues with data. This individual will be responsible for processing documentation and shipping/receiving commercial and government owned assets.

Requirements

  • Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Process receipts and shipments in Raytheon’s Automated Logistics Control System, (ALCS) tool
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Active DoD secret security clearance
  • Able to travel to Taiwan for up to 3 weeks twice per year to perform audit support & inventory activities, process material receipt for refresher or upgraded activities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in Import/Export Compliance
  • Experience reading and understanding design drawings, specifications, and vendor technical documentation
  • Manage equipment calibration schedule, documentation and transactions for test equipment and stations for test equipment and stations
  • Interface with Program Management Office
  • Repair and Return to maintain Return to Vendor process

Responsibilities

  • Inventory management
  • Ensure logistics activities comply with required regulations and safety standards
  • Communicate inventory control policies and procedures to external and internal auditors
  • Identify and manage continuous improvement projects regarding inventory management.
  • Tracking calibration of test equipment
  • Responsible for consumable management
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships
  • Utilize logistics data to identify and resolve issues, and make informed data driven decisions
