The Senior Logistician provides both logistics and technical support to the H-1 Helicopter Program team located at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point.

Requirements

  • BA,BS required. 4 years of hands-on experience in providing support to the H-1 helicopter program can be substituted for the degree.
  • Knowledge of and experience in providing both supply and technical support to the H-1 Helicopter program is required.
  • Previous management experience in providing dedicated support to the H-1 helicopter.
  • Experienced in communicating with customers, employees, and corporate staff.
  • Experienced in the daily use of computers and computer software programs such as, but not limited Microsoft (MS) Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS OneNote, MS Outlook, and Adobe.
  • Knowledge of aviation supply/maintenance best practices.

Responsibilities

  • As the subcontractor on this program, serve as the V2X team lead in coordinating with the Prime contractor to ensure all requirements of the contract are met.
  • Provide technical advice and resolve issues related to H-1 support.
  • Provide facilities management where applicable.
  • Resolve any personnel issues related to the contract and report unresolved issues to senior management
  • Facilitate the closure of all task orders associated with this contract.
  • Assist employees in the transition to the new contract
  • Assist employees with obtaining a CAC and any website access requirements
  • Track and provide any required assistance with all training requirements
  • Gather, consolidate, and submit all monthly CDRLS
  • Track and manage funding and charging requirements
