Zantech is looking for a talented Logistician II to contribute to the success of our upcoming Logistics and Sustainment Support Services contract for an Onsite role based out of Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. The Logistician II will play a crucial role in Performing automated Logistical Specialist tasks primarily related to warehouse functions to maintain equipment records and parts. Establishing and maintaining stock records, reviews and verifying quantities received, unloads and stores supplies, ensures proper storage, simplifies maintenance data collection, and operates GCSS-Army. Ensuring material availability and warehouse operations efficiency for equipment and supplies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of warehouse operations and automated logistics systems experience.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining stock records, review and verify quantities received, unload/unpack/count/segregate/palletize/store incoming supplies per prescribed methods, rearrange and inventory stored materials, examine stored materials and report deterioration, remove material from storage and prepare for shipment, ensure proper storage by product type, construct storage aids, simplify maintenance data collection, raise quality of performance data, and operate.
  • Industry standard technical skills: Warehouse management, inventory control systems, material handling equipment operation, GCSS-Army proficiency.
  • Physical requirements include lifting and material handling
  • GCSS-Army training will be required
  • Must follow prescribed storage methods and safety procedures
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret trust or higher clearance, per contract requirements.

  • Associate's degree preferred (Industry standard)

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain stock records and other documents (inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports)
  • Review and verify quantities received against bills of contracts, purchase requests and shipping documents
  • Note and report discrepancies and obvious damages
  • Unload, unpack, count, segregate, palletize and store incoming supplies and equipment per prescribed storage methods
  • Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials
  • Examine stored materials and report deterioration and damage
  • Remove material from storage and prepare for shipment
  • Ensure supplies and equipment are stored correctly for each type of product
  • Construct bins, shelving and other storage aids as needed
  • Simplify and standardize collection and use of maintenance data
  • Raise quality and accuracy of performance, cost and parts data through improved maintenance management
  • Operate Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army) to track supplies, organizational equipment and spare parts
