About The Position

ASR International Corp. has an opportunity for a Logistician to support activity ensuring compliance with the guidelines, references, and directives mandated. The Logistician works closely with other personnel, both military and government civilians, at the work location. Location: Washington DC

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors Degree.
  • At least 4 years of logistical experience, with at least 2 years' experience in a Military (Navy or Marine Corps) environment.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to Favorable Tier 3 Background Investigation. Current Security Clearance is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, developing, and implementing a phased approach to logistics support that defines broad logistics concepts early in program development and then becomes more defined and detailed as the programs mature.
  • Assist in generating and revising logistics plans, analysis, and supporting documentation for all systems under the guidance of the Program Management Offices (PMOs) to conform to requirements for program events including Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs), core logistics determinations, Milestone Decisions, and other significant program events or milestones from program initiation through life cycle sustainment and disposal.
  • Provide expertise and support to decision makers in the review of logistics policy and procedures to further understand and implement initiatives (e.g. distance support, obsolescence management, sponsor/government owned material, etc.)
  • Participate in the preparation, analysis and review of acquisition logistics documents, plans and studies supporting program initiation through life-cycle sustainment and disposal. These include but are not limited to Acquisition Logistic Support Plans (ALSPs); Life Cycle Supportability Plans (LCSP); Program Life Cycle Cost Estimates (PLCCEs) and associated documents; Training Systems Plans (TSPs); Configuration Management (CM) Plans; Human System Integration (HSI) Plans; Logistic Management Information (LMI); Equipment Facility Requirements Plans; Operation & Maintenance Manuals; Supply Support Financial Planning (Program Support Data); and Performance Based Logistics (PBL)/Business Case Analyses (BCA) studies.
  • Throughout all stages of the acquisition process, provide analysis of operational/system requirements and user input relevant to the Twelve (12) IPS Elements, Life Cycle Logistic Management, Human System Integration (HSI), maintenance, training, and related supply support.
  • Integrate all program logistics decisions and/or milestones into the program master schedule.
