About The Position

The Logistician I provides entry-level logistics support for Navy surface ship combat and weapon systems. This role involves assisting in the development, coordination, and execution of logistics elements throughout the system life cycle, supporting mission readiness and sustainment.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship
Active Secret Clearance
High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate.
3+ years directly related experience in integrated logistics support
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Navy ILS processes and documentation standards
Experience with Navy logistics databases and tools
Knowledge of DoD acquisition and sustainment policies

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of logistics documentation, including provisioning, supply support, and maintenance planning.
Support the development of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) products such as: Technical manuals Training materials Maintenance task analysis Bill of Materials (BOM)
Collect and analyze logistics data to support configuration management and sustainment planning.
Coordinate with engineers, technical writers, and supply chain personnel to ensure accurate logistics data.
Use Navy logistics systems (e.g., R-Supply, ERP, CDMD-OA) to input and retrieve data.
Track and report on logistics metrics and inventory levels.
Participate in logistics reviews, audits, and readiness assessments.
