About The Position

T-Rex is looking for a talented Logistician 2 to work on a program in the Ft. Meade area in support of the Intelligence Community. The position involves managing the supply chain at every step of the procurement process, including procuring materials, providing for storage and delivery, and arranging transportation and shipment of materials worldwide. The role requires a working knowledge of laboratory environments and the DD Form 1149 process for agency Cargo Shipping Services. Additionally, the Logistician will complete monthly inventory reports per government guidelines and support the inventory control process to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved, or transferred.

Requirements

• Ten (10) years of experience working as a Logistician.
• Experience with property accounting processes and associated forms.
• Knowledge of automated inventory control systems.
• Professional experience in ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability, and discharge of excess property.
• Practical experience with processing paperwork related to Government Bill of Lading and the DD1149.
• Active TS/SCI w/ Poly.

Responsibilities

• Procures materials and manages the supply chain at every step of the procurement process.
• Provides for storage and delivery of materials and arranges transportation and shipment of materials to different locations worldwide.
• Prepares inventory for shipping, including loading on pallets, attaching green tags, creating DD Form 1149 documentation, and shrink-wrapping of pallets.
• Tracks shipments worldwide and interfaces with sites to establish Arrival on Site (AOS) notification.
• Completes monthly inventory reports per government guidelines.
• Supports inventory control process to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved, or transferred.
• Maintains the Defense Property Accountability System by providing entries for incoming property, transferred property, and excessed property.
• Assists system developers and integrators during shipments of systems and system upgrades.
