The position involves identifying new business opportunities and creating target customers in freight forwarding and/or logistics related industries. The role supports the promotion of all company products and services to increase sales and aims to meet and exceed sales goals and targets. Responsibilities include researching and identifying new business opportunities, ensuring execution support of developed sales strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with all clients through efficient communication and work processes. The position also requires providing excellent communication support for sales calls, managing follow-ups, and maintaining general industry knowledge, including competitors and their market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and create target customers in freight forwarding and/or logistics related industries
  • Support on promotion of all company products and services to increase sales
  • Support to meet and exceed sales goals and targets
  • Research and identify new business opportunities to evaluate needs and provide insight
  • Ensure execution support of developed sales strategies, objectives, and goals
  • Support on maintaining strong relationships with all clients through efficient communication, work processes, and services
  • Provide excellent communication support for sales calls and manage follow-up
  • Maintain and develop general industry knowledge, including competitors and their market presence
  • Work closely with product/pricing team and overseas partners to ensure all quotes and proposals are accurate
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting, as required
  • Perform other job-related duties as required

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in internal sales experience such as telemarketing
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher required in a business-related field
  • Proven track record in sales, prospecting, and developing accounts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to build trustworthy relationships with customers
  • Excellent presentation and selling skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow up with clients
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to travel up to 30% in the US
