MainOcean LLC, is a consolidated family of companies providing logistics and supply chain solutions to cargo owners and shippers through the warehouse, port, and transportation industries. Job Purpose: The Logistics Coordinator serves as the critical link for communication and coordination between customers, drivers, warehouse associates, the dispatch team, and leadership. This role combines customer service, logistics coordination, administrative support, and billing and payroll processing to ensure efficient daily operations and a high level of customer satisfaction. Duties & Responsibilities: Provide proactive and professional communication to customers, drivers, warehouse associates, and the dispatch team. Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, responding in a timely manner with a proactive approach and sense of urgency. Coordinate trucking dispatch activities, including scheduling drivers, monitoring deliveries, and communicating changes or issues. Troubleshoot and problem-solve customer and operational issues by accurately gathering details and identifying effective resolutions. Escalate customer concerns or operational challenges to management when resolution is not easily identified. Execute management-approved resolutions for customer or logistics issues. Process driver payroll accurately and in accordance with company policies and deadlines. Handle customer billing functions, including preparing invoices, reviewing charges, and resolving billing discrepancies. Provide general administrative support related to logistics, customer service, and operational activities. Follow established order, dispatch, and billing processes outlined for the position. Maintain accurate records in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Collaborate with teammates and assist with cross-training on accounts, systems, and processes. Serve as a backup for teammates to ensure continuous customer and operational support. Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas and participating in efforts to improve customer, driver, and internal team experiences with MainOcean Carolinas, LLC.
