About The Position

As a Logistic Coordinator at BTI Solutions, you will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of cargo from origin to final destination. This role involves effective communication with customers to achieve profitable deals and working closely with account agents to accommodate client instructions. You will manage the operation to ensure timely delivery via Ocean, Land, and Air, generate shipping documentation, and coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments. Additionally, you will provide various types of quotations to customers, send invoices for completed cases, and cover operations for co-loading, intercompany shipments, and transfer billing cases. Your responsibilities will also include creating daily inventory, managing customer service goals, and reporting performance indicators for the supply chain function.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
  • Excellent computer and database management skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Streamline ocean inbound and outbound freight.
  • Manage operations to ensure timely delivery via Ocean, Land, and Air.
  • Generate shipping documentation.
  • Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
  • Provide different types of quotations to customers.
  • Send invoices for completed cases.
  • Provide billing team documentation from beginning to end of all involved transactions.
  • Cover operations for co-loading, intercompany shipments, and transfer billing cases.
  • Create daily inventory ensuring data accuracy.
  • Manage, monitor, and drive improvement to achieve high customer service goals.
  • Communicate, report, and support high volume customer accounts.
  • Plan, analyze, and compare the cost of service.
  • Report Performance Indicators (KPI's) for the Supply Chain function.
  • Develop performance metrics to manage and evaluate operating performance.
  • Work side by side with the Pricing Department and maintain relationships with industry vendors.
