About The Position

WOONGJIN, Inc. is seeking a dedicated individual to identify various risks associated with contract conclusion and business execution, and to establish alternatives to mitigate these risks. The role involves resolving issues through close relationships with shipping companies and execution companies, such as rail and trucking/drayage companies, as well as port terminals. The successful candidate will monitor delivery progress from ocean shipping vessels to final delivery destinations and create simple tools to manage regular shipment monitoring status, reporting to upper management, customers, and HQ. Additionally, the role requires analyzing data to identify pending issues affecting seamless movement and sharing these insights with relevant parties to facilitate resolution. Monthly analysis and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for drayage deliveries will also be part of the responsibilities, along with establishing delivery status reports for customers and planning innovation tasks in various regions/bases to check logistics costs and discover cost reduction opportunities. The candidate will need to identify operational issues in regions/bases, establish solutions, and set inspection standards for different logistics types, including warehouse and inland transportation. Establishing communication channels and regular meetings with carriers, SSL, customers, and internal departments is essential, as well as performing ad-hoc reporting and other job-related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree preferred or GED.
  • Experience with route setup and finding optimal routes with various transport modes and multimodal transport.
  • Experience in establishing a transport plan that optimizes loading rate, transport time, and logistics cost.
  • Experience in establishing and managing logistics processes for warehouse operations and local transportation.
  • A good attitude and ability to work in a team setting.
  • Proficient in Outlook and MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word), including vlookup and pivot tables.
  • Prioritization skills, able to shift focus to urgent issues while managing other duties.

  • Bilingual Korean preferred.
