The Logistics Manager is responsible for supply chain activities including, but not limited to, staff allocation, prioritization, value-added projects, the daily shipping and receiving throughput, and day-to-day warehouse operations tasks. The Logistics Manager partners with Customer Service, Operations, Purchasing, and Quality, to set priorities as well as develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to operational flows and processes for a growing organization. Ensures shipments are delivered in a timely manner. Maintains relationships with carrier vendors and consistently resolves customer issues. The Logistics Manager is expected to: · Maintain delivery standards and achieve 95% on time shipment · Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization using 5s methodology · Negotiate freight to reduce shipping costs while maintaining quality standards
