About The Position

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for analyzing and formulating logistics data to support operational and functional requirements for the installation and tenant units. This role involves maintaining current logistics plans, implementing long-range strategies, and ensuring compliance with various standards. The analyst will also provide technical and functional coordination, assist in the development of reporting systems, and conduct audits to improve processes within maintenance, supply, and transportation departments.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent with good oral and written communication skills.
  • Academic coursework in computer information systems or military courses related to Government automated information systems preferred.
  • Three years of general experience in management, investigative research, or technical work demonstrating analytical ability and knowledge of logistics operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must possess and maintain a current State of Colorado Driver's License.
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for a CAC and SECRET Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in division level planning, operations, and scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate logistics data to support operational requirements.
  • Assist in developing means to meet mission requirements and adjust plans for technological and organizational changes.
  • Document planning efforts and ensure timely approval and publication of revisions.
  • Initiate, formulate, coordinate, and update logistical plans for mobilization, deployment, and training.
  • Provide technical and functional coordination and advisory services to various stakeholders.
  • Perform daily functions using automated information systems related to maintenance, supply, and transportation.
  • Serve as the LMI-DST Planner/Vetter for program analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001/2008 standards.
  • Develop processes and flowcharts for process improvement in logistics departments.
  • Attend meetings as a liaison and schedule planner for equipment management initiatives.
  • Compile data, perform analysis, and generate reports for operational support assessment.
  • Conduct statistical and trend line analysis for process improvement.
  • Facilitate Quality Management System and process improvement meetings.
  • Provide management reports related to logistics processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
