Requirements

  • Education: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; prefer Associate' s or Bachelor's degree in psych-related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Prefer experience in a psychiatric hospital setting as a Mental Health Tech working with adolescents and/or adults.
  • License/Certification: AHA CPR/ Handle With Care / Verbal De-escalation Skills:
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to assist in crisis intervention, physical intervention with out of control patients.
  • Medium demand, mentally. Requires extensive time sitting, writing, and talking on telephone.

Responsibilities

  • The Lodge Manager provides direct care to adult patients with psychiatric disorders to ensure the safety and well-being of the patients.
  • The Lodge Manager has the primary responsibility for ensuring the patient's safety in the Lodge and/or apartments.
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to assist in crisis intervention, physical intervention with out-of-control patients.
  • Performs others duties as may be assigned by Program Coordinator; Staffing Coordinator; Director/ Manager of Outpatient Services, Dir. Of Clinical Services or CEO
