The Locums Recruiter will play a crucial role in expanding our Locum Tenens service line by collaborating with locum agencies to source qualified physicians for open opportunities with North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA). This position is designed to ensure that our Hospital Chiefs and Physicians receive the best possible experience throughout the vendor management process, adhering to our internal guidelines and procedures. As a remote position, the Locums Recruiter will report directly to the Director of Talent Acquisition, making it essential to maintain effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders. In this role, the Locums Recruiter will be responsible for partnering with locum agencies to identify suitable physicians for our contract openings. This involves understanding market trends and strategies by working closely with vendors and regional leadership to provide timely updates on locum openings. The recruiter will manage the entire Locum/Leased process, from the initial presentation of candidates to their successful placement, ensuring compliance with internal processes and documentation requirements. Additionally, the Locums Recruiter will educate site and regional leadership on the locum recruiting process, streamline invoicing and confirmation letters through the Vendor Management System (VMS), and ensure that candidates have timely start dates. Regular follow-ups with site and regional leaders regarding outstanding locum presentations and considerations will be a key part of the role. The recruiter will also be responsible for providing biweekly or monthly regional reporting on outstanding openings and current locums in process, while building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally.
