This is a full-time position that requires the ability to manage multiple assignments in a challenging environment. The Privileging Specialist will report directly to the Supervisor, Privileging and Onboarding, and will be responsible for timely and accurate privileging of physicians and CRNAs within NAPA’s Locums program. Essential duties and responsibilities: To ensure new hires start timely and coordinate with onboarding specialist and hospital/office-based locations To ensure existing hires are cross privileged timely and coordinate directly with the provider and hospital/office-based locations Complete reappointments timely Establish long term positive relationships with Medical Staff Offices Send notifications communicating any estimated start date changes to onboarding specialist/site chiefs Ensure accurate data of all privileging information and data entry into database Submitting staff dues and other fees for approval and payment Run weekly status report on all providers pending privileges Provide privileging reports to upper management, site chiefs, and external departments Responsible to attend virtual regional meetings, as required Review daily exception reports to ensure and maintain database quality Load and maintain privileging letters into database Serve as a resource to internal departments, providers, and outside agencies Responsible for monthly reporting, administrative duties, and other department projects as assigned
