VCA Companion Animal Medical Center is expanding its Patient Care Team and seeking a Locum/Relief Veterinary Technician! We are seeking a Veterinary Technician who is passionate about veterinary medicine and enjoys building relationships with patients, clients, and teammates. Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE
  • Strong clinical skills with a desire to continue learning
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care and patient monitoring
  • Assist with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
  • Support surgical and anesthetic procedures as needed
  • Dentals and dental radiographs
  • Educate and communicate effectively with clients
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital environment
