About The Position

Aya Locums is seeking a locum Urologist for an immediate opening in Victoria, TX. This position offers competitive pay ranging from $350 to $400 per hour and requires a commitment of 13 weeks. The role involves diagnosing and managing urological disorders, performing surgical interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a residency training program in urology accredited by ACGME or AOA.
• Board certification in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU) or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS).
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas.
• At least one year of experience providing care in a clinical setting.

• Fellowship training in a urology specialty may be required.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex urological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and manage urological disorders such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and prostate issues.
• Perform various surgical interventions including cystoscopies, nephrectomies, and prostatectomies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide consultation services to other members of the medical team regarding critically ill patients.
• Provide patient education about conditions, treatment options, and post-care management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
