About The Position
We are seeking a qualified Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. The position offers a competitive compensation range of $273.35 - $291.57 per hour, with a work schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The start date is as soon as possible, with credentialing expected to take 60-90 days. The estimated length of the assignment is between 6 to 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The staffing model includes 3 physician shifts and 2 Advanced Practice Provider (APP) shifts, with various shift times available including 6 AM to 4 PM, 12 PM to 10 PM, and 8 PM to 6 AM. The Emergency Department (ED) handles an annual volume of 31,000 patients, averaging 85 patients per day, with 13% of patients arriving via EMS and 25% being admitted. The facility is designated as a Level IV trauma center, with 20 ED beds and 12 ICU beds. The EMR system used is Meditech Expanse.
