About The Position

VCA Keizer Veterinary Hospital is a well-established general practice in Keizer, Oregon with a client base that includes patients from the Salem-Keizer area and beyond. We are seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our team in a relief capacity, for the purposes of performing surgical and dental procedures on weekdays during times when staff veterinarians may be away. Our team includes 2 CVTS and several experienced VAs in support of our anesthetized procedures and the hospital is equipped with intraoral radiography, standard full-body radiography, and ultrasound. Caseload can be variable and customized to the practitioner though we are looking for doctors who are drawn to surgery and/or dentistry and are able to work efficiently. For many GP practitioners, this can be the perfect compliment to a day job that doesn’t totally fit your thirst for more surgery opportunities. If this is just what you've been looking for, we'd love to meet with you! Standard GP relief compensation is $100/hr plus mileage, though in some cases that may be negotiable.

Requirements

• Experience as a veterinarian with a focus on surgery and/or dentistry.
• Ability to work efficiently in a relief capacity.

Responsibilities
