Locum Psychiatrist for Adult Inpatient Unit ~ New York
About The Position
We are seeking a Locum Psychiatrist for their Adult Inpatient Unit starting as soon as credentialed! Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Call: 1:4 Location: general adult behavioral health unit= 30 beds split between 2 physicians (15ppd per provider) 63 beds On the inpatient side, there are 3 inpatient physicians (and the 2 openings - we’d be looking for 2 locums) The outpatient side at full staffing will be 5 physicians and 1 APPs EMR: EPIC Safety/Security Measures: 24/7 security guards at hospital. all staff attend codes. The only time a psychiatrist would see a child is in the crisis unit (only when on weekend call), the child is then evaluated and transferred to an adolescent facility (if admitted). Credentialing timeline: As soon as possible
Requirements
- Board Certified
- ACLS
- NY License at the time of submission
- Clean background due to quick credentialing
- Must be available Full Time
- A Self -Query NPDB report is required at the time of presentation and must be pulled within the same month as the submission.
